FTFA: But Judge Kevin Sherwood noted that when Morin was stopped by police May 10 on his way to jail, he had been driving the stolen vehicle for four days.

"That makes me somewhat cynical you had the vehicle just so you could get back to your intermittent sentence," Sherwood said.

Gee. Ya think?

10 months is too short for vehicle theft, especially since those Wall Street criminals are still walking freely.

If I went to jail I'd want to get it over with, not savour the moment over an extended period of time

Me too, because I could just ditch my landlord first and not have to pay any rent or utilities at all during the sentence. Then afterwards I'm sure I could find a new place real quick.
