Russ1642: He could just as easily have run into a wall, down some stairs, into traffic, or into a tree, but because it was a statue they're going to blame the statue and not his lack of a functioning brain.

I'm kinda divided.  Just knowing people, someone's gonna run full-on into that about every few years.  It just happens.  Only way to prevent it would be chainlink and that defeats its aesthetic purpose.

It's probably the one off to the right of the picture.  Horn straight horizontal at about chest level.

I remember years back in the predecessor to the Daily Local (Chester County, PA newspaper), there was a front page photo of a kid who tried to climb over a fence to retrieve a ball at Greystone Mansion.

The kid got half way, slipped on the wrought iron fence.  The spike on top of the fence went through his neck, and out his mouth, but missed his jugular.  The newspaper ran with a giant close-up image of the kid with an iron spike through his neck and exiting his mouth, face twisted in agony as rescuers used blowtorches to cut away the section of fence the kid was impaled on.

Looking back, I can't possibly imagine what kind of farked up newspaper editor would think:  "OH, you have a picture of a kid impaled on a fence through his throat?   That's what sells newspapers!   Front page, closeup, I want it printed in the morning"

Because of that photo, I half expected when clicking on the link to find an image of the student dangling lifeless from the horn of the statue.
