The local news gal made it very clear that the moon wasn't actually going to get bigger during this period. Thank Christ she cleared that up..

hawcian: I, for one, enjoy listening to people tell me how big the moon looks and how they've never seen it that big...every year (almost).

I went outside for 10 minutes and got a moonburn!

Kouvre: I will, of course, forget I read this article in a few hours, and get scared shiatless when I look into the night sky and think we are going to die by crashing into the moon.

We have the technology. The time is now. Science can wait no longer. Children are our future. America can, should, must, and will blow up the moon.
