TheGreatGazoo: Having had the pleasure of owning a hybrid with over 100,000 miles on it, I'll stick to a car that I can take to pretty much any mechanic and get fixed.

Versus the hybrid that I had to fix myself because the dealer was incompetent and nobody else wanted to touch it.  Oh? You want an alignment?  Nope.  Want to replace the factory tape deck?  Nope.  Tires?  Sure... oh wait we don't have the size.

I know exactly what you mean. I have the worst time trying to find a mechanic who will change the oil in my electric car!
