Bucky Katt: I know for a fact alligators hate mushrooms.
lobotomy survivor: Did the alligator stand in for the snake?
AverageAmericanGuy: I'm all for the legalization of marijuana, but not sure how I feel about mushrooms. While I'm not particularly opposed to the use of hallucinogenic mushrooms for recreational purposes, the risk of someone becoming very sick or dying from ingesting a bad one is pretty high.If mushrooms were legal, I assume we'd see an increase in legitimate growers and the quality and safety might improve significantly. But with MJ now legal in two states, maybe that ought to be enough for the general public for now.As for alligators, those should definitely require a license and special insurance because when they bite a kid, it's very dangerous.

Holographic Shimmering Pork: As far as legalization - the only way I ever see it happening is as part of the blanket legalization of all drugs. It's entirely too powerful in its alteration of perceptual reality to be allowed OTC. I would be completely happy if, instead of legalization, the penalties for mushroom possession were rolled back to something more representative of their dangers. Right now, possession of an effective dose is a felony in most states.
