hardinparamedic: Our Pediatric Neurosurgeon plays Slayer and Metallica during tumor operations.

He's an awesome, crazy smart dude.

That's some angry music for working on children's brains. I mean, after you get done and you're heading home after a long day of very slow and precise surgery, sure, but while you're doing the operation? How about some nice Beethoven. Or wait, that can get really loud somewhat unexpectedly. I don't know, something that's not tense or prone to make you jump a bit if you've got it turned up to hear the softer parts. For God's sake man, think of the children!

I guess he's the genius neurosurgeon and I'm just some guy from the internet though, he's probably got it covered. \m/

Mr. Wilson, shouldn't you be suggesting perhaps "Music for the Head" or "Anesthetize"?

Marcintosh: The procedure is not a cure, but it can give patients better control of slow movement, stiffness and tremors.

Fire it up. Time to medicate.
