Carn: litespeed74: Release the CATS

In one of the animal threads, I believe I was called a heartless, soulless fiend for suggesting that a cat could be useful for killing such pests as disease ridden rodents.  Won't someone please think of the plague mice.

That person obviously didn't grow up on a farm where field mice were literally the plague. When I left Indianapolis in 1996 the hantavirus had spread to Hendricks County. When in any given year the number of mice we had to get rid of was 120-180 per season, they stopped being cute little critters and start being a real menace. And don't get me started on the rats.

BarkingUnicorn: Oldiron_79: Ever since the Rattlesnake Republic came on the air the bottom has fallen out of the pet trade prices on Timber Rattlers (people wanna pay like Diamondback prices on them) Frack that Timbers are a lot rarer and in harder to move through habitat than diamondbacks.

I wouldn't pay a nickel for a hot snake.  Snakes are supposed to be trouble-free pets.

I wouldnt pay a nickle for a venomous snake either, but Ill gladly take the cash of those that would.
