I read the headline and I laughed.
I read the article, and I sad.

I felt sad.

And then I chuckled.

And then I felt sad again.

FirstNationalBastard: count_chimpula: FirstNationalBastard: count_chimpula: And it's not just the headline that's 'hilarious', the 'lucky' children, such as the boy described in the article, were crushed to death immediately. The girl(who was the one who loved to sing), suffocated to a slow death under tons of rubble. Hilarious! It took 2 days for rescuers to find her body, during which her parents had no idea whether she was dead or alive. I'm sure her grief stricken parents took some comfort, while they were waiting, in reading snarky Fark headlines about poor headline grammar.

Oh also, the girl's family's house was completely destroyed, but I guess that doesn't matter, because she won't be needing it anymore! Amidoinitrite?

Mominator: Yeah, my original intent was to highlight the poor editing skills of whomever is claiming to manage that website. I feel very sad for the victims and their families.

"Faux News"! Hilarious!

/because when someone is wondering if their child is dead or alive, they're surfing the 'net.

What a clever riposte, you really put me in my place.

In the future, I will certainly think twice before I tangle with an intellectual giant like you.

Oh wow, you got me AGAIN. I really stepped in that one, huh! When will I learn???

I wish that I could come up with a suitable retort, but frankly, I don't have the intellectual capacity, and it's not like they give those photobucket accounts out to everyone!

But hey, I really do have a sense of humor. For example, I also find it 'hilarious' that subby's screen name is "Mominator". Because what Mom hasn't wanted to have her terrified children crushed or smothered underneath tons of debris at some point and then have a laugh about grammar afterwards, amirite?

In fact, I think I would be a great idea for Subby to drive to Oklahoma City and comfort the survivors. I bet JaNae's father would really appreciate Mominator's unique perspective, because truthfully, he probably really does need a laugh right about now. "Hey Joshua, I'm sorry about your loss, but did you read this HILARIOUS "Faux News"(get it?) headline about it--they left out some commas, so they made it sound as if she was crazy(and still alive!)!

I'm sure that will cheer him up right away!! And after he got done laughing, you could go back to the ruins of his house with him and maybe find a few mementos of his daughter before they hauled the debris off to the dump...

Oh also, Subby, not that "Faux News" needs any white knights, but that was an AP story, with the exact original AP headline.

Wow, really? Making jokes about the dead kids after just a couple days? Perhaps I'm aging faster than I thought. I can see this on TF, but front page? Come on, Fark. You're classier than that.
