Wait until the reveal that the whole series was an acid hallucination from world famous rock star Creed Bratton

The British version of this thread will be so much funnier. This version is gonna be dumbed down for an American audience

I don't care though, I don't even own a TV

Oh, I remember that series finale. Goodbye, Michael was the perfect ending.

Nice episode.  Strangely sentimental.  The Office is probably the last network show I watched religiously every week, even if the last couple years have been more out of habit than for enjoyment.  With it's ending, my "appointment tv" is now all cable, all on-demand, and not all on my TV.  Times, they are a changing.

/ The heavy Creed content was great.  As was working in a shot of all the producers, directors, and writers in the "photo scene" .... nice gesture to give the back office people some time in front of the cameras on the last episode.

/  Would've liked to have seen a Jan Levinson and Hunter appearance at the wedding.

rugman11: great_tigers: Good god. I was a freshman in college when this show started. Married with a kid of my own. Great ending.

Huh.  I was in my last year of undergrad and the woman I would ultimately marry was dating one of my best friends.  It's amazing how much things can change in such a (relatively) short period of time.

I was working in paper and the woman I would ultimately marry was one of my best friends, dating a coworker and working 5 feet from me. Now we have kids of our own and are moving to Austin. Once we get there I start an affair, and 6 months from now she's dead.

Mad_Radhu: Jim looks into the mirror and smashes his head into it, bloodying the glass. Dwight's face appears in the mirror. Jim maniacally repeats, "How's Pam?" and laughs uncontrollably.

I would love to see a Office remake of the Red Room scene with Jim as Cooper and Dwight as The Man From Another World.

Here we go.....
A) Better have Michael Scott
B) If not, it better open with Toby killing Jim and the next 65 minutes are him gently stroking Pam's hair with a brush

Final scene:

INT. Dunder-Mifflin Office, evening. JIM and PAM are carrying their belongings out in cardboard boxes. JIM takes a last look around the empty office, pauses, and turns off the lights.

Camera pulls back slowly, revealing the documentary crew packing up. Continues to pull back, revealing a second film crew actively filming the documentary crew. Camera pulls back further, revealing the film crews and office set to actually be plastic figures, part of a toy office set being played with by CHILD. Furnishings in the room suggest that it is the toddler child of JIM and PAM. Camera continues to pull back, demonstrating that CHILD is actually an animation being shown on a computer screen. Camera continues to pull back, showing that the child animation is a screen saver being played on JIM's office computer as JIM daydreams. The office is fully-staffed and the employees are engaging in regular work. PAM is sitting at the reception desk; there is no sign of characters from subsequent seasons. ROY enters and engages PAM in an unheard conversation, gives her a quick, perfunctory kiss, and exits. JIM gazes at ROY and PAM for a beat, then sighs, and returns to work. Fade out.

I loved the part when Dawn opened Tim's gift and it was a painting set. That was heart-warming.

Show should've ended with Idris Elba dissolving the branch because the entire staff was retarded.

Nothing beats the "gradually add weights to Dwight's phone handset and then one day remove them" prank.

Except maybe for "future Dwight" faxes.
