The GOP has lost its mind.  Look at the last two democratic presidents.  They actually managed to impeach President Clinton over a completely trumped up "scandal" that ultimately involved him not being honest about getting a BJ from an intern.

Then, there's eight years of Bush, which was chock full of lying, political favoritism and political retaliation.  Hell, the administration lied its way into a war in which over 4,000 Americans were killed.   But the GOP was ok with it because it's their guy.

Now you get to Obama, who has been extremely centrist, and, in reality, more right leaning than clinton.  Nonetheless, the GOP faithful absolutely hate him just because he doesn't have an R next to his name.  So they've been trying to cook up a huge scandal ever since he got into office.

First it was Solyndra.  Then it was the birth certificate, then it was ... well, you name it.  My point is, it has all been unadulterated bullshiat.  Benghazi was never a "scandal."  At most, it was a failure to recognize a rapidly unfolding dangerous situation, and a somewhat bungled explanation of it from the government.  But it's not like the administration got these people killed.  Crazy shiat like this happens in unstable countries.  it sucks, but it happens.  Just because something bad happened doesn't mean that automatically it was some "scandal."

I'm just tired of this shiat.  I think the whole country is tired of this shiat.  The GOP isn't interested in policymaking or governing.  It's interesting in grandstanding, perpetuating its hold on power, and trying to undermine its opponent at every opportunity.  If a political party's number one goal is to damage their opponent politically rather than effectively govern the country, then it has no place in the government.   Our country is farked if we keep electing people who are more Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, than they are Barry Goldwater or Dwight Eisenhower.

Once again:

If a group that is unapologetically anti-taxes applies to be tax exempt you should go out of your way to investigate their claim.

Because the political organizations were all KKK affiliates Tea Party egg-sacks, and Obama is black.

This issue is going to get obnoxious real fast, as Glenn Beck's "The Blaze" is now trying to claim that conservatives were being audited unfairly for years using the fact that one (Anne Hendershott) was audited in 2010 and is now for the first time that she felt they were asking questions to track down other conservatives she might be connected to.

This is why you HAVE to be non-partisan in your determinations: the IRS Cincinnati Field Office has managed to completely undermine trust in the agency and justify everyone critical of Obama claiming victimization even in cases where they are being non-partisan.

After a dozen years or so of seeing right-wing political enemies pepper-sprayed in the face, electrocuted in the genitals, beaten, robbed, short-changed and foreclosed upon, I just can't muster up the outrage over these groups that had to do some extra paperwork.

In fact, fark you.

Obama's best bet is to actually goad them in to impeaching.
