MadAzza: SubBass49: I'd totally try it if I lived on the East coast. I'd get my 4 year old daughter to try it too. Already got her hooked on octopus...That's too bad. They're probably smarter than she is.And it's not that special for your little foodie (barf) to be "hooked on octopus." It's a staple to eat tako (octopus) where I live, and I live in the U.S. Too bad people here are idiots who eat intelligent animals like octopus, stolen pet dogs, and god knows what else."It's our culture," they say. Yeah, and their culture sucks ass.
Bender The Offender: Lsherm: Back in the 80's we ate them deep fried when they came out. They weren't unpleasant tasting - sort of sweet with a nice crunch. Definitely worth trying at least once.1979, 1996, 2013. Math is fundamental. I'm not going to let you trick me into eating bugs with your lies.
Bucky Katt: Boy, am I glad I'm not a foodie. Ick.

Chocolate, nuts, ummmm...food dyes...

Tabletop: I DNRTFA, but the cicada expert on NPR said there was some evidence that cicadas are mercury accumulators, like tuna. A little googling turned up http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2004/05/040531214618.htm, I don't know how reliable a source science daily is, and I DNRTFA either.
