Nakedmanjoe: muck4doo: Nakedmanjoe: muck4doo: Think about it Nakedmanjoe.

As has been pointed out on here. The guy only speaks spanish....I wouldn't know if I heard his 911 call cause' i don't understand Spanish...Wait why would he call 911 if he speaks Spanish in a predominatly English area. Oh he wouldn't, nevermind what I said.

For English Press one
apriete dos para español

Don't be ignorant

You know as well as I do in a sense of urgency it's quicker to just have the English speaking guy call.

It's quicker to have the guy on the phone who knows what's going on there and is involved talking. Quit trying to trash the guy like smokinggun.com

muck4doo: Of course people change over a decade, but not necessarily much or for the better.  This guy is still farking up today.

Hey Fark, you wonder why people don't always stand up and defend the defenseless? It's people like this. It's either a crime, or a joke to do so. You will go to prison, or be ridiculed, or have smokinggun.com delve into your life and try to shame you to everyone for the laughs of some tards.

Some people might fail to render aid because they have more vanity than pride.  Pride is concern for what you think of yourself.  Vanity is concern for what others think of you.  There's another moral lesson conveyed by many heroes.

I recall walking behind three suits when one of them gave  a dollar to an elderly, wheelchair-bound woman.  Another suit called out, "Sucker!"  The first suit said perplexedly, "What?"

"You're a sucker for giving beggars money!" sneered his putative "friend."  The giver looked sheepish.

I caught up to them when they stopped for a traffic light and said to the giver,

"You'll live longer for giving that dollar.  Ignore that asshole."

He straightened up and smiled - proudly.  "You're right. Fark you, Bill."

Pride replaced vanity, and he felt better.  It's always about feeling better.

So you don't Ramsey was the first one there and the Spanish gentleman is lying?

I remember an episode of a show Michael Moore had on hbo or show time a while back.  He had a person, dressed casually, lie down on a busy sidewalk and pretend to be dead to see how long it would take before someone stopped to help.  It was a very long time.  People just walked past and didn't even look twice.  Don't underestimate the power of people to not give a shiat.

Respecting the human right of homeless people to get some rest is "not giving a shiat?"  Test might have some validity if the guy was asking for help, leaking blood, or making obvious signs of distress.

The person was dressed decently, clean... intentionally to NOT look homeless.

You think if he was a white engineer that he would get scrutinized by smokinggun.com like he has been? People treated him like a joke as soon as they saw him, and many of us saw this coming. His past would be dug into to try to find some dirt on him. Congrats, they succeeded.  Try digging some dirt on the Police Chief of the Cleveland PD. Of course, they won't do that. The contention is over who came to the rescue first, which is silly.  I don't care who got there first.  It's of no moral significance whatsoever. Neither is the color of anyone's skin, so you're silly too.

Perhaps in the middle of the confusion they don't know who got there and kicked in the door, but the point is we don't have a clear picture as to what happend. I like people who are humble and not eating up the spotlight.

Ok Muck finally a point I'll concede with. I'm just a person who has become cynical with age and I bought his whole story 100% and I thought it was a wonderful thing that he did. But just because I heard his side first and he seems charismatic and genuine didn't mean this other guy wasn't just as much as involved. For some reason he's not catching the press like Charles. The only thing that's understandable here is that it was for abuse of women, and even so, this may be, as someone noted upthread, redemptive. Had it been for some unrelated misdemeanors or even something like burglary, I would feel it was largely irrelevant. Even before the smoking gun, I heard a few people bothered by his statement that at first, he thought it was "just" some domestic violence.

2013-05-09 11:58:49 AM
I don't give a damn if he beat a hundred women, or owed a million dollars in child support. All that matters is what he did that day, and nothing else. Anyone who doesn't ignore his past should commit suicide right now, because he will always be a hero in my eyes. The world doesn't need cynics like you. We need more hero's like Mr. Ramsey.

Drew loves to push this trash though from his creep friends at smokinggun.com As far as I am concerned he is as big a creep as they are. Instead of praising the guy for what he did, they went looking for dirt. The ultimate hypocrisy is to see someone write about bullshiat in the media, then push bullshiat himself with his website. Drew, you are becoming the Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction. Stop it.

Someone did something heroic.

Drew and Friends: Let's dig into his past to find something to trash him on

Friends: We found something

Drew: We'll greenlight it!

Drew and friends: weeeee!

Drew later: Why come medias not so serious? Ima serus hare? Time to write nuther berk.

"But the truth who arrived there, who crossed the street, who came and broke the door, it was me."

 -Angel Cordero

Why are you not contemplating this scenario. Does it not make you feel as warm and fuzzy inside? Is this not possibility?

I know what you believe. The scary black man couldn't possibly be part of the rescue. It must have been someone else.

We need a Godwin's Law for racism.

We need a law for asshats that can't believe that a black guy came to the rescue. I haven't seen anything from Berry to say that didn't happen. Ramsey himself said there was another guy there. It's asshats like you and smokinggun.com trying to disparage the guy.

The contention is over who came to the rescue first, which is silly.  I don't care who got there first.  It's of no moral significance whatsoever. Neither is the color of anyone's skin, so you're silly too.

This is all silly, but I didn't bring it up in the first place, did I? Smokinggun.com did. They went above that though, and are doing their best to disparage the man. Fark loves it.

I see it as "the rest of the story."  Like I've been saying, there's more than one lesson to be learned from Ramsey's life.

Omahawg: Pocket Ninja: I'd like to suggest, with complete seriousness, that if you're the type of person who, within 2 days of a story like this breaking, has as his main inclination the desire to dig up whatever dirt you can find on the one "hero" who's emerged in the hopes of driving page views to your voyeur website, or if you willingly work for such a person, you should take a long, hard look at your life, have a shot of whisky, and shoot yourself in the head. Please. Do that.

this is worth quoting again.

and again and again

and again.

robohobo: muck4doo: Why get involved? Do something heroic, and smokinggun, Fark, and the rest of the shiatbags will bring you into the spotlight, then work their best to bring you down. Go fark off smokinggun. How does it feel feel to live off on peoples ruined lives? That is exactly what they do, and it makes me disgusted Fark feeds on that like a bunch of eels feeding on a horse head. It's not like they just go after people who do horrific crimes, they try to dig up dirt on people who do good as well. If you aren't disgusted yet, you should be. Go eat your eels Drew.

Oh c'mon, the Mugshot Round-up is comic gold. Those people made their choices.

Also, you're still here, cocksmoker.

In the next Mugshot Round-up thread, everyone should go in there and post, "Fark You TSG." you know, just because. Just one little TSG protest thread.

Umm no.  This guy is clearly a career criminal POS who happened to have a good moment. He is not a good person who had a couple of indiscretions. MANY MANY charges and convictions makes you a career criminal and a POS.
Good for what he did but he's not someone I want in my house as I feel confident he's lifting anything not nailed down.

You know how I know you're racist?

BarkingUnicorn: HalfOffOffer: BarkingUnicorn: HalfOffOffer: Hoban Washburne: mikeray: 80% of Americans would have not wanted to get involved and walked away.

You really think so? Jesus Christ.  I hope you're nowhere close to right.

LOL!  I don't care if he was in a tuxedo.  Anyone lying on a busy sidewalk and not obviously in distress looks homeless.

You are proving my point exactly.  Thank you.

Even bad folks do good things every once in a while. No one is perfect. I'm sure Ariel Castro has open doors for old ladies or may have even helped in soup kitchen.. who knows?
Ramsey did the right thing by helping the gal but no he is no angel.
This is a non story. Basically this just means humans has the capacity to do both evil and good depending on the circumstances on that specific event.

Mindless drifter on the road
Carry such an easy load
It's how you look,
And how you feel
You must have
A heart of steel.

Why do I keep farkin' up?

I can see you on a hill
Comatose but walking still
Curves beneath
Your flowing gown
Only I could
Bring you down.

Why do I keep farkin' up?

Dogs that lick
And dogs that bite
Hounds that howl
Through the night
Broken leashes
Are all over the floor
Keys left hanging
In a swinging door.

Why do I keep farkin' up?

This story is insisting that Charles didn't show up until after the fact she had escaped. Just another article the media put out to bash the man's name.

Oh, just so we don't go all Racy here, the author of the article is black.

And you are blithely ignoring my point:  the test was deliberately ambivalent.
