schubie: I've read her autobiography (I've read all of the SNL books) Even with professional editing her crazy just jumps off of the page. She's also an alcoholic (she doesn't admit to it but she can't hide it). The funniest part is that the real derp doesn't even begin until the last chapter or two. Sure there are some dog whistles here and there. (which makes it surprising she chose a state with as high a black population as TN) but when you get to the last chapters she has a list of "10 Reasons Why Obama is a Communist" and it the book just ends in the middle of number 5. It's like the publisher just said "fark it, I'm out."

I guess she moved to TN to be closer to her daughter. I wonder if this means her husband who clearly hates her is coming out of the closet and getting a divorce?

Actually, I feel kinda bad for my neighbors in Tennessee. Unlike South Carolina, Florida, Texas and North Carolina, they've done a pretty good job lately of keeping their heads down and staying out of the Derpfest Limelight.

(Of course, Ala. and Miss. will always be there ... They sort of invented it, after all.)

I spent some time outside of Nashville, and got accused of being a drug dealer for using a gas station restroom, was told to take my hat off everydamnwhere I went, and was peppered with a large variety of humongous insects every time I stepped outside. When I think about it, I can't think of a single polite person I met on the trip outside of service personnel. It seemed like every other Nashvillian was pissed off at the world.

Just saying, as someone who grew up there, your story makes absolutely no sense at all. Who accused you of being a drug dealer? And every male family member of mine wears a baseball cap everywhere they go, and only take it off during the national anthem. Then insects are bad at dusk, though, so always wear some off.

a) a police officer, who was in the gas station at the time. See, I was white, and was in a "black neighborhood," so he detained me for an hour or so to make sure I wasn't depositing drugs in the bathroom
b) almost every mall I went into had at least three or four men come up to me of various ages, but always white, telling me to take off my hat when I'm indoors
c) yes, the insects are godawful, and I'm not even counting the time I was there during the last cicada storm

I wrote a uke song called "White Men Are Good" and sang it at a comedy club about 4 years ago. I could feel the audience tense up. Why? Why is there a Black History Month but not a White History Month? Now, that the white race is becoming a minority in America, perhaps we need to make...say, January, White History Month.

I'm just really tired of the white male, and especially the white conservative, Christian male being attacked in cartoons, movies, TV shows, politics, Affirmative Action, etc. It's like in order to fix the "discrimination" problem, culture flipped the racism from "against blacks" to "against whites". Why do we have to be "against" anyone? Aren't we all equal?

Just for the record, white men invented rockets, space travel, airplanes, the automobile, the English language, the U.S.A., most medical advances, electricity, television, telescope, microscope, Ivy League Universities, the computer, the Internet, and on and on. I think white men should be praised and respected. White Christian Conservative Men especially, should be loved and adored. They were the backbone and originators of the greatest nation on earth. We need more of them now.

In November, 2012 The Blaze reported that Alec Baldwin tweeted, "...Obama's re-election signaled the end of white, middle-aged Christian male dominance".

Maybe that's why our country is going to pot; our huge deficit, foreign attacks, crashing economy, racial and class warfare, immigration problems, bigger government, disappearing freedom, growing poverty, sky-rocketing unemployment, rancid immorality, more pregnant teens, etc. etc. - "the end of white, middle-aged Christian male dominance." I'm just saying.

Find a white, middle-aged Christian man today and hug him. And then, encourage him and your white Christian sons to stand up, be leaders again, and save our cou ...

Yeah, Franklin is in Williamson County, that's where a lot of the stars are. Brentwood is north of Franklin near the county line. That's where all the offices are. (And a lot more money) Wouldn't be surprised if a few stars lived there as well. I-65 pretty much runs right into Music Row. I think that's why they all settled there.

I lived in a Studio Plus extended stay hotel for a year back in '95 in Brentwood, and the small company I was working for was there also. Yep very rich, and I actually had a really good time. Of course, I didn't hang out with many of the locals.

Well, let me explain what you may have missed; Freedom of conscience is a basic human right. That means every person has the liberty to choose whatever religious beliefs or cultural traditions (or none) that they want to live by, provided they respect that same liberty in others. It's not complicated.

In my experience, most Islamic Americans have far more respect for that freedom than Victoria Jackson and her ilk. Or you, for that matter... I've never heard of anyone trying to force churches to perform gay weddings, and I suspect you're making it up.

Unless the Murfeesboro Islamic community is sponsoring politicians who try to apply their traditions to secular law, I fail to see what you're driving at.

It doesn't surprise me that you fail to see my point. I'm an Atheist and I support gay marriage. The penalty for the crime of homosexuality is death in Islam. You would think that their would be outrage from the people who want to force churches to perform gay weddings but your staggering inability to comprehend that explains why there is none.

Well, let me explain what you may have missed; Freedom of conscience is a basic human right. That means every person has the liberty to choose whatever religious beliefs or cultural traditions (or none) that they want to live by, provided they respect that same liberty in others. It's not complicated.

In my experience, most Islamic Americans have far more respect for that freedom than Victoria Jackson and her ilk. Or you, for that matter... I've never heard of anyone trying to force churches to perform gay weddings, and I suspect you're making it up.

So you support Islam's stand on homosexuality or your a stupid Fark troll or both.

Christ, you're awful at this.
