studs up: The Snow Dog: xria: Mr. Cat Poop: Bullcrap. Fark statisticians told me the odds are too high to win the lottery.

Someone will win the lottery, but most people aren't interested in someone winning the lottery, they are interested if they themselves will win the lottery. Saying that if you as a single person would sit around rolling a 41 million sided dice once a week and paying a dollar or two are basically never going to roll a "1" on it is entirely reasonable.  When millions of people roll that same dice every week.every now and then someone will luck out, sure, but overall 99.99%+ of people that play a lottery are going to lose.

/pet peave

Die is singular of dice. That seems to be lost on you and your lack of intellect.

You also misspelled peave. It's PEEVE. Did you learn something? I sure hope so. If you decide on correcting someone else, make sure you aren't mistaken yourself.
