CNN reported the object was traveling at 14 times the speed of light when it hit them!!!!!!

It vaporized the ISS and caused the moon to fracture which is now falling on us to cause a tidal wave 1500 miles high killing all life on Earth forever!   But they said I need to stay tuned for their sponsors if I want to know more.

Too bad its not quite as easy as just editing your persistent.sfs file to remove all the junk your prior attempts have left up there.  Built a speedy little Mun roamer last night using the faster wheels, even stuck some of those tiny rockets and fuel onto the back for a turbo mode( don't go past 60, the tires burst as I discovered :P).  It struck a dip and did a brilliant slow-mo corkscrew flight before landing upside down and self-destructing.  Great, two more Kerbals stuck on the damn Mun.

maniacbastard: Space exploration is dangerous and that is why we shouldn't do it!

You space nutters are going to get killed in the hard unforgiving vacuum of space!!!!!

Space exploration is BAD!!!

Am I doing it right?

\Troll out

Its a standard that you also need to shoe-horn 3D printing into the rant.  Maybe something about how those printers will never be able to make parts for spaceships or something.

I Ate Shergar: Just Another OC Homeless Guy: I Ate Shergar: Relatively Obscure: I like that he clarified that the stone was from the universe.

Well, you know how it is in space. There's always stuff coming through from other universes, and it's nearly all dangerous.
(Unless Star Trek, Babylon 5, Red Dwarf, Andromeda, Doctor Who, and probably every other sci-fi show ever - with the possible exception of Firefly - has lied to me. But that couldn't happen, right?)

If the theory of infinite parallel universes is true, then everything, even fictional stuff, must exist somewhere.

Seriously, wouldn't it be something to have a inter-dimensional rip in our solar system and watch as the UFP Enterprise, a Corellian Cruiser, a Wraith Hiveship, a Goa'uld Ha'tak, a Tau'ri F-304,and the Battlestar Galactica duked it out between Mars and the Asteroid Belt?

I've had the same thought myself. I believe this has been used by authors of crossover fanfics, and at least one comic book (ST:TNG / X-Men).

Then the fracking Death Star shows up and we're boned.

Pinner: moos: stupid rednecks, always shooting stuff.

Drove home from camping in the San Rafael Swell (UT) this weekend. Every sign had bullet holes in it on the county roads. Every one.

That's one of the most expensive things about putting up power and telecommunications boxes in the wilderness, the rednecks tend to shoot the shiat out of them.
