Not just "issues"; according to WRAL, Broyhill wrote checks supposedly refunding donations to the Miller campaign.  The FEC flagged five of them; WRAL got in touch with four of those donors, and they said they never got the checks.

Dude is weapons-grade stupid; he was very likely to get nailed to the wall for fraud and embezzlement.  So what's his solution, stab her?  At best, you're adding assault with a deadly weapon, and now it's murder.  Great strategy there, chump!
