Somebody wrote about Canada and citizenship and "the motherland" meaning Israel. No mention of Jews
And I commented on Israeli espionage. No mention of Jews.

How about improving mental health screening and treatment? Cho was completely part of the US system when he went off the rails the way he did. It had nothing to do with his immigration status, and at the time he immigrated he hadn't yet started going off in his "interesting" direction, so there was nothing to see.

Don't forget the Columbine killers, Adam Lanza, and that Holmes guy who shot up the theater, either. Columbine tried to use bombs, even (they just didn't manage to set them off successfully).

Plenty of born in the USA spree killers out there.

I wouldn't read too much into that license plate.. And it wasn't his roommate, it was two friends of his that it seems did what typical 19 -21 year olds do and incorporated the name of a popular group, this just happens to be a popular club music group, into something their persona.

To be fair, Montreal was the worst, and it seemed to come from a lot of French-Canadians. I visited Quebec city once and it was really really really bad there as well. Like, people openly pointing and shouting at me.

Apparently I wasn't clear. My point was that domestic terrorists by and large tend to suffer from a mental condition and that is why they kill. While I used him as an example as a foreigner coming here and shooting people up, Cho actually fits better with this group. Then there are the cats who are sane that kill out of ideology. They certainly seem to fit a profile - certain region of the world and certain extreme religious leanings. No one solution is going to address both types of spree killer/terrorists. For the later, it starts with tighter immigration and monitoring, for the former, I don't know. More public money for mental health treatment is a tough sell and even if they get the treatment, it doesn't seem to prevent violence. Cho, the Colorado guy, and Sandy Hook guy had all apparently met with counselors, but they still did what they did.

Well the answer is indeed more money in mental health care, but the problem is that a shiatload of these nuts can pass as normal for the most part.

Heard about the spree stabber in Lone Star? No sign of being unbalanced, he was a bit shy but otherwise everyone thought he was normal and nice.

No problem. The term in English means 'master of repentance', meaning someone who lead a non-religious life and is now leading a religious life.

Now, if there was an Hebrew term for 'guy still trying to repent, doing a fairly poor job at it', I would rather it applied to me instead, but sadly we only got the one term.
