Good. I love the show, but it's well past time to wrap it up.

Came here to say this.

Sad to see it go because it's a good show.  Glad to see it go because it's lived a good life and needs to be put down before it turns into something really awful.

I liked the first four seasons, struggled through the 5th, then gave up after seeing one too many of those heart to hear chats about his "dark passenger" with his dead father.

Sad? The show really needed a conclusion a few seasons ago. The writing got sloppy and the characters got weak.

Wonderful start though.

Incorrigible Astronaut: My biggest problem with the past few seasons is that they've suffered from Heroes syndrome- character motivations change at will

Burns me up that ever since season 4, Dexter has been interfering with police investigations so he can make the kill.  Before that he was only killing people who had slipped through the cracks.  I unno, wasn't that even part of the code?  He started getting into that mess with Trinity, and look where that ended Dexter?  You thought that turned out well, and decided to keep doing it?

I really want Hannah and Dexter to run off to Argentina.

Going to throw my predictions out there again:
Cat and mouse game with the chief who takes a renewed interest in LaGuerta's theories.  Eventually something slips out and they begin to zero in on Deb, so Dexter gives himself up to protect her.  Show ends with her beginning to train Harrison the same way Harry trained Dexter.

Yeah, this is old news. Seasons one and four are brilliant, two and three are ok (though apparently held in much higher esteem by other people), and the three since have just been... bad. Really bad.

Hopefully after a show about a sick mass murderer and his enabling sister, maybe they can stop contributing to our culture of violence.

It's okay he only kills bad people.  The ones you need to worry about are the ones get a stiffy unloading their weapon at the gun range, once the range doesn't do it.
