Stop this shiat. "Crew" a singular noun. Singular nouns singular verb time.

It's that creeping British collective singular crap.  I swear, between that and the football coaches destroying the subjunctive, normal American English won't exist in a few more years.

That's too bad, I think they're pretty good.
