mrbach: I was actually nervous about this, thinking he was going to go one way, and then he just went that way. Sort of agree. How do white straight guys get to complain about anything really?

/still complain though

I complain when people stereotype white men as being all about white men and think I should feel guilty for every injustice ever committed in the name of misogyny, racism, or homophobia.

If it weren't for white men surrendering their place of privilege and promoting justice, there would be no women's suffrage, no civil rights legislation, etc. A lot of white guys have been pretty cool about the entire civil rights thing, and grouping us all together as some sort of elite enemy is just as short-sighted as the racism and misogyny that we fought against.

A Public Service Announcement On Behalf Of All White Dudes

As a white dude myself, I don't recall giving this self-loathing turd permission to speak on my behalf.
