bacongood: Your Average Witty Fark User: Story is incomplete. Was the thrower throwing outside the throwing area or was the deceased warming up in the the throwing area? Either way, this never should've happened.

He was hit in the hip. Really sounds like some sort of preexisting condition.

Sure.  Everyone has a hip.

As there is no men's recreational intramural basketball thread yet, I'll ask this here: Has anyone see the No. 1 seed in our bracket play? Are they any good or did they just beat awful teams?

/I figure while we're expecting niche threads...

RoyFokker'sGhost: NSCB time....

We had a track & field program at my elementary school, with the shot put as the only thrown activity. You had to be in the Fourth grade to participate. A buddy of mine was the class clown and was goofing off near the bounds line. He got hit in the head with at 15 lbs shot. Blood everywhere. Serious brain damage, Thankfully, he had recovered somewhat by the time he was in his 30's. The kid that put the shot was really messed up about the whole thing; he was an early puberty type, about 5'6" and 175 in the 4th grade and a real 'gentle giant'. He never played in any sport after that.

Do you pick up many chicks with that story?
