These are just a few of the images we've recorded. And you can see, it wasn't what we thought. There's been no war here and no terraforming event. The environment is stable. It's the Pax. The G-23 Paxilon Hydrochlorate that we added to the air processors. It was supposed to calm the population, weed out aggression. Well, it works. The people here stopped fighting. And then they stopped everything else. They stopped going to work, they stopped breeding, talking, eating. There's 30 million people here, and they all just let themselves die.

Keyser_Soze_Death: It's also good for inducing vomiting.

I've been harvesting and taking psilocybe mushrooms for 20 years. I have never had them induce vomiting. Even when making tea with thousands at a time. Even eating them raw. Not even once.

Peyote, otoh... Spray the rainbow.

caddisfly: About one psychedelic trip per year for about 20 years now (either molly or mushrooms).  Best experienced with groups of good friends.  It's like going to the gym for your psyche.

Most people report a sense of conectedness to everything and that's very good. It shows your actions have consequences and lets you feel at one with things. A friend of mine put it this way: It's GOOD to have your ego broken every so often.

Psylence:  Pretty sure thats mescaline/peyote.

I've heard it applied to mushrooms too, but couldn't cite a legitimate source or anything.

They're definitely not for everyone.  In the handful of times that I've taken them the experience has ranged between profound and life changing.  There's definitely some therapeutic value, and I strongly support their supervised use as a means for gaining introspection.

Those nights, even looking back sober, are some of the best conversations I've ever had.  I saw myself from a perspective that allowed me to see things about myself that I had been avoiding.  Actively set about changing my life for the better the next day - even after the worst experience I had.

The thing to understand about mushrooms is that they aren't really a party drug and shouldn't be used as such.  They're a tool for getting to know yourself.

A vacation is good every now and then to help clear out the cobwebs.
