bborchar: It's ridiculous to hold this company responsible for a doctor they hired or contracted for when the only thing they probably did was pay the man in accordance to a contract with Michael Jackson.  They had no ability to make medical decisions for Jackson, nor did they tell this doctor to give Jackson illegal drugs.  Now, if the Jacksons can PROVE that the company knew that this doctor was giving him illegal drugs and did nothing about it, they might have a case.  I find it ludicrous to think that is the case, though.

In a small way, it depends on the circumstances.  If they hired the doctor as a part of his contract, ie, they were worried about his health and his ability to fufill his contract, they may have essentially forced the doctor on him.  If that's the case, then it would be on them to vet the doctor and make sure that he was qualified to do what he was being contracted to do.  Jackson might have had the ability to remove the doctor, but his qualifications still fall on the company that hired him in the first place.

Sorta like if you're admitted to the hospital.  You have the ability to fire your cardiologist and demand a different one, but most people trust that the hospital didn't hire a quack.

I don't understand what they're biatching about, he's made more money for them over the past 4 years, than he made since 1993.

/ridiculous lawsuit

The zombie cash cow is running out of flesh. The poor little dears might have to "gulp" work for a living.
