AngryJailhouseFistfark: I'm going to guess somebody took it.
CheekyMonkey: Oh, look, there's that one bad apple again, giving the cops a bad name?
doremifaq: I'd bet that it's still in police custody.
durbnpoisn: This sounds like one of those cases like this:We found $93,000 in a duffle bag which contained $80,000.We put the $70,000 into the evidence locker.Last time we looked, the $55,000 was still there. But somehow, $8000 of the $40,000 has gone missing. We need to figure out how to better secure the remaing $10,000.I mean, $7000 is life changing money for some people.
Gifted Many Few: I read the article and I have a conclusion. Since it was drug money it was assumed there were no ones. The first time it was counted, ones were counted as tens. Then during the double check, it was counted correctly. There, no corrupt cops. Nothing to see here. Move along citizen.
js34603: Mike Wallace probably took it./nah he would have just dropped it
solokumba: I'm just trying to figure out why we have to put up with all the re-posts of (Featured Partner)links. As if posting once isn't enough.
The Gordie Howe Hat Trick: Someone had eight thousand $1 cups of coffee.Or one $8,000 cup of coffee
Inchoate: solokumba: I'm just trying to figure out why we have to put up with all the re-posts of (Featured Partner)links. As if posting once isn't enough.I wouldn't care about them if they had comment threads. They don't, so I won't click on them even if they seem potentially interesting.
CheekyMonkey: Yeah, I read the article too. First time they counted it, they came up with $93,153.00, so that kind of shoots your theory down right there, unless you think there were 3 bucks in quarters.
