draa: I think it has more to do with the #2 Republican in the State being implicated already since it seems as long as one of them isn't caught redhanded then everything's fine. Now that she's resigned the Republicans in this State are just trying to cover their asses imo. They're all corrupt bastards anyway so that's my guess.

It was reported last night on local news that Allied Veterans has donated money to the Republican Party of Florida and there's more political donation shenanigans to come. As was also reported this is just the first round of indictments and more are coming in the next few days/weeks. I have a feeling that the RPOF is neck deep in this scam since the FDLE began investagating this group in 2006 when our Lt Gov was still a member of the State Legislature and one of the top Republicans in office at the time. I also have a feeling that this scam is why she was tapped to be Scott's running mate. Let's not forget, she's black and a woman and Republicans hate both of those groups so there had to be some reason that the Republicans would pick her for the #2 spot in Florida Politics. Most likely it had to do with her access AV's/FOP's money since she was certain to be involved herself as evidenced by her resignation today. I wiould also point out there's a shait ton of scam money still unaccounted for and hopefully it brings the RPOF down as well. At least one can hope anyway.

I'd like to add that Jim Greer(past President of the RPOF) and Del Mar Johnson(his Cheif of Staff) were also indicted a few years ago for something very similar. They had set up a shell company that took 1/3 of the donations to the RPOF that they solicited and put it in their pockets for personnal gain. That was with the RPOF's consent as well. He also said that he had enough information to bring them all down and since the RPOF threw him under the bus when he was arrested I'm pretty sure he was doing a lot of talking. I wouldn't be suprised to find out that him(and Johnson) were the ...

Hey everybody, look!  Its that asshole who uses uncommon acronyms without explaining them and expects everybody to either understand him, or thinks he's awesome and smart because he uses acronyms nobody else does!

Pointy Tail of Satan: You know, it would be relatively easy to build a kind of Hadrian's Wall across the northern part of Florida.

I hear the Warner Brothers have a saw of appropriate size to cut the state off completely.
