I don't even wear corporate logos on my clothes (no Gap, Nike, Adidas, Old Navy, Budweiser, Goodyear, et. al.) and I couldn't imagine being such a whore as to trade my dignity for a year of Netflix. This guy is cheap.

If I'm marking myself for life, I'd better get the product free for life, too. For starters. I'd also want a portion of their advertising budget to go to me. After all, with a corporation's tattoo on me, I'm a walking, talking billboard, right?

I feel the same about shirts with company logos on them. If I'm walking around advertising YOUR business, then you should be paying me instead of me having to pay for the shirt. Even if the shirt's free (which it damned well ought to be!) I would expect to be given at least as much money as the company would spend on an ad in the local newspaper. More if I actually talk positively about their product or service.

People are idiot whores who don't know when they're being used by the plutocrats.

BumpInTheNight: Another example of tattoos being indicative of poor decision making skills.

The original
[ image 236x181]

Tattoos are not indicative of poor decision making skills.  I waited until I was 30 for my first and I knew exactly what I wanted.  Couldn't be happier and you can't see it unless I want you to.

How you chose to get tattooed and what you chose for the tattoo may be indicative for poor decision making skills.

A year of free Netflix is worth less than $100. The tattoo probably cost more than that.

What a f*cking idiot. That tattoo is horribly done and Netflix is like 8 bucks a month for crying out loud.

I think they don't want to encourage people damaging their brand.

"Gee um thanks, but please no one else do this. We don't want to be associated with people who tattoo brands"
