Grand PBUH: Lee's_Austin: Sybarite: The project focuses on a young man who has "been plagued by possession since he was a child." His search for answers leads to information about a mystery that "could mean the end of life on Earth as we know it."

Interesting idea. I've always enjoyed a good demonic possession tale, but then I started wondering what the point of it all was. Is it just like a demonic vacation to jump into someone's body and make them contort into crazy shapes and frighten old priests, or is there some sort of end game?

Apparently, the end of life on Earth as we know it.

From what I can recall of the BS they tried to push on me in catholic school, demons possess people and do all that crazy contortion act to dissuade people from believing in God.
But then you have the Holy Spirit, that inspires (possesses) people and makes them go all crazy contortion act and fall down too.
It's all quite silly, really.

Wow, really? I'd never heard that. Seems like seeing actual evidence that demons are real would make someone *more* likely to believe in God.
