How about picking a day during the late Spring or early Summer instead of a day when a large swatch of the farking country is still cold and grey?

If I hadn't been on Fark I wouldn't have known it was national unplug day.  So was I supposed to get a pamphlet in the mail?

The only time I ever see anyone telling someone else to "get off the internet and go outside and get a life" is on internet forums. it's funny.
