They left a word out of that least sentence. It should be "Police are still ACCIDENTALLY investigation."

There's about a half dozen pronunciations depending upon what part of the state you're in. I've definitely heard armadiller, armadilly, armadilla, armadillo, army-diller, army-dilla, and I heard an old timer call one a Sherman possum (after the Sherman tank, I think).
