I looked into that. It's actually a lot more complicated and expensive than the CommBadge project, mostly because smartphones didn't do voice recognition in those days.

But I have to give Siemens props for making their product look a lot like the Starfleet logo.

Pretty soon you wouldn't need to actually remember anything. Though then if you lost your glasses you'd forget who you were.

I think that is the killer app.successful politicians and business people are often known for not forgetting a face or name. Imagine how you could network if you remembered everybody forever.

Quantum Apostrophe: Looks like toothpaste technology really improved in 14 years.


It looks more like they warmed the colors in editing.  You know, faking the picture looking older than it really is by instagramming a filter on it.  But they didn't go back and un-warm the teeth, so you end up with whites having a slightly orange tint.

Crazy that they are allowing for iPhone. But that makes me happy. Maybe I get a second gen one
