So people are whining that the Girl Scouts didn't give away for free something that is their primary source of fundraising? What's more, the people who were whining in the article had the perfectly reasonable idea that basically amounts to "send them to us!".

And they even bring up "nutrition" as though we are talking about food that would help out starting children in the area.

Cue waahhmbulance pictures.

Hey!  I am a supporter of the GSA.  But, instead of buying those nasty ass cookies I send them a check to commend them for being open minded.

Yes that is a shame,  but I can tell you what is worse.

A huge problem is the Mothers who spend the cookie money and then give the troop a check that bounces.

I was in a position to see how rampant this was, and I was very shocked.

I still feel sorry for the poor little girls who will have no chance with a parent like that.
