I don't recall where I heard this fact, but it was back when she was still on Disney and they made a bit of a deal about it. Kind of a "not only is she talented and cute, but she's also smart!" sort of thing.

But hey... She's a celebrity. What does she need to use her brain for, anyway?

I've read something like that a long time ago too.  I was a fan since the All That days, then The Amanda Show.  She was actually really talented.  She wrote some of the skits herself and everything.  I thought at the time she was going to have a great future in the business and seemed really smart and mature for her age.  Pretty sad actually.
