FTFA:  Police say just prior to the incident the male entered the Simon's Convenience store by the college and destroyed merchandise.

so........... somebody jumped off a bridge to avoid the cops after destroying (not stealing) merchandise in a mere convenience store?  sounds like somebody was on a bad trip.
