Mugato: gaspode: You know, I rarely steal software. However I will make a special exception for Adobe, because, well, fark you Adobe, fark you right in your asses.

Any hint on how do do that? For a friend.

It involves inserting your penis into Adobe's asses.

Alexei Novikov: the cake is a pie: I Like Bread: You probably have to run the install program as an administrator. Or - and I recommend this for other reasons - install it to a different drive.

I think I tried that, maybe not. In 7 I'm pretty sure you could just turn off UAC and get effective admin rights, or at least enough to not be bothered too often. Now it seems like you have to actively try to run everything as admin directly if you want to accomplish anything.

And that's probably not a bad thing for most of the consumer base.

I think there needs to be a button to make it  just work. Hide it somewhere that will take 3 different google searches to find.  Put it behind several layers of dialogs, confirmations, warning popups, etc.

Are you sure? Y/N
No, seriously, are you sure? Y/N
Really really sure? Y/N
This could fark things up, you don't have to be a hero, you know? Y/N
Alright, if you insist... Ha! just kidding, we're gonna check again, are you really absolutely sure this time? And we mean it, for realsies! Y/N

And then after all that, if you get to the end and answer the final question Yes, it just turns your user into a full-fledged administrator that can see/do everything without any further molestation by the OS, ever.

I though it would be a repeat of them releasing the entirety of CS2 free to the public (albeit accidentally):

Still available if anybody wants it.
