"Police believe that he drove the car from Virginia to New Jersey."

That's some fine police work there, Lou.

If you're not careful, you'll lose your license, then you can't drive.

His Maserati did one eighty five.
He lost his license; now he can't drive.

If that was my kid I tell you no jive.
He would be lucky to make it alive.

I thought Maserati was one of those cars that could fit under the bar at the toll booth.

I don't steal cars, but when I do, I steal a Maserati.  Drive fast my friends.

You are an unlicensed teen driver who stole a Maserati, and you don't even bother to speed? Damn kid could have outrun the cop. I don't understand the kids these days....

Maserati? Yes please.

Although after seeing what my old boss did to his car...

He picked the worst color you could for a Maserati, it had the old man wood finish for the interior then he had huge butt ass ugly spoked chromey wheels that I couldn't tell if they spin or not because I'm blinded by the reflection.

It was this one. Looks almost normal, but I am sure it's fantastic.

The Maserati Quattroporte was first produced in 1963 and, as a heavier four-door, has a rated top speed of 167 mph.

Joe Walsh is a gawdam liar.

The one this kid stole is the luxury Maserati. There are also three different levels of trim  for this particular model, changing weight & speed.

Every 2006 Quattroporte is powered by a double-overheaded-cam 4.3-liter V8, developed by Ferrari, which is rated at 393 hp at 7,250 rpm and 333 lb-ft of torque at 4,750 rpm. According to Maserati, it takes 5.1 seconds from 0 to 60 mph and puts the top speed at 171 mph.

The 2013 Quattroporte S has a top speed of 174 mph and zero-to-60 mph time of just 5.3 seconds.

2013 Maserati GranTurismo Sport Coupe and Convertible
Zero to 60 mph: 4.7-5.0 sec
Standing ¼-mile: 13.3-13.6 sec
Top speed: 177-186 mph

They also have a new car coming out next year-ish.  I don't have specs on that yet.

None of these take into account any of the sports cars that Maserati used to produce.  In the early years, Maserati was a racing machine equal to, or better than a Ferrari.  Since (roughly) the 70's, Maserati has been more about handling, elegance and very good speed - without being as fast as the Lotuses, Ferraris, Lambos, etc...

Honestly, my favorite is the Merak.  It's not fast at all, but it's one of the most beautiful cars I've ever driven.
