Richard C Stanford: No, some of the dinosaurs survived on Noah's ark, but the flood changed the atmosphere so that the dinosaurs couldn't breath properly. Then they got hunted to extinction by Appalachian hillbillies. See Jack Chick's informative tract "There Goes The Dinosaurs".

Ah. See, yet another illustration of the differences between various Christian belief systems. If only there was some sort of "method", y'know, that they could use to objectively compare, debate and correct their theories until they arrived at a consensus. Maybe something, aw I dunno... "evidence-based".

Vegan Meat Popsicle: Suckmaster Burstingfoam: Why give money to people like that, if you're a conservative? Especially when Andy Schlafly's Conservapedia needs more funding!

We should give it to the creation museum instead so they can research the dinosaurs' tactics for surviving threats from outer space.

/ now I'm curious... how do they explain away the fact that there are no more dinosaurs if they think they lived with humans a few thousand years ago and don't evolve?

Not a fundie nor play one on TV, but I'd guess the idea would be that the dinosaurs were killed off in the Flood.

The Flood after all was meant to kill the "giants who lived among human men", and maybe fundies substitute dinosaurs to sanitize the Nephilim-were-having-sex-with-our-Jewish-women aspect of the story. Thus Yahweh killed the dinosaurs cos... he... didn't... like them anymore? Or... something?

Of course the seaborne dinosaurs would have survived, thus fundies are all worked up about how the Loch Ness monster exists and stuff.

Anyway, it's unimportant cos you should be worshipping Jebus.

This seems to fit with what Conservapedia says on the topic anyway.

The poll at the bottom:

Yes, any more preparation would be provocative and invite attack

We can't launch any more solar observatories, because we'll tip our hand early to those space monsters.

And yet, when NASA begs for money to build and launch new solar observation sats, the conservatards deny them the funding. Afraid it might help prove global warming.
