Cornwell said the mismanagement of her finances forced her to move and miss a deadline for a book for the first time in her career. She also said the upheaval upset her dog, Choo Choo.

People don't actually consume popular media because they like popular media; they consume popular media because they think everybody else is consuming it, because advertisers tell them everybody is consuming it, and they don't want to be that weird person who actually likes something different.

Authors don't make blockbusters. Advertisers do.

Oprah liked it, so I must like it too!
