Made a bit of spending cash on these toys back in '98.  Think they were $35 list price, was selling them for $100 a pop on ebay.  Had several people pay double that for overnight delivery on Christmas week.  Good times.

I'd hate to admit it, but I actually owned one of those.  My daughter had one two.  It was actually really amusing watching the two of them interact.  Pretty damn impressive technology for the time.

For the record, I didn't by mine.  It was given to me as a present by a coworker.  She had it in her cubicle.  When she left the company, she passed it down to me.

Wow, thanks for the information.  So she posted an ad, had people send her money, and that's it?

Seriously, where is the glam, glitz, and glitter to the story, make it interesting!!

Probably the same people to respond to Nigerian princes in exile. You know how stupid the average person is? Exactly half of them are dumber than THAT.

As one of the a-holes who threw down $52 for one for my daughter for Xmas, I have to agree. "Limited entertainment value" doesn't begin to describe these stupid things.
