Wrong, subby. Inviting the cops into your home is a bad idea unless you can get them there DURING the invasion and even then I have doubts. I live by a simple rule. Do not involve the police. And here is yet another example of why that seldom works in your favor.

Misleading headline. From reading the article it sounds like they were physically assaulted, fled the house, and called the cops while gone from the house- unsure what the robber stole- and in need of help before feeling secure enough to re-enter their own home. The article doesn't read like any of that stuff was out in the open. It reads like the cops started searching the house once they got there.
