When we moved into our house, we wanted cable. The cable company was full of excuses. They said they wold not wire the neighborhood until the houses were bilt. I'm glad the other utilities such as water, sewer, gas, electric and telephone weren't that way. I complained to the city managers office. They called back and said the cable company said they did not have access to the poles in a neighborhood that had all buried utilities.

I told the lady at the city managers office thatthey had been lied to. About two weeks later there was a tag on our door announcing that cable was being installed in our neighborhood.

1) Tax citizens and tell them you need to money to give them broad band internet.
2) Give the money to a fat telecom.
3) Watch telecom leave town with $$$$.
4) Repeat.

Eventually, decades, even later, you install it and charge the users out the ass for it.
//and really, Make sure you own every telecom on the merry-go-round that is collecting the subsidies to put in the broadband that you never install.
///It's been working like that for years in Vermont.

Same mofo owns every singe one.
