Fish_Bulb: What a terrible user experience on that site.  Not to be "that guy," but I really was enjoying the show, but had to pull the ripcord because a) I noticed there were double the ad breaks than if you'd been watching it on TV, b) for 117 seconds, they played the same H&R Bloack, ad, and then they played 2 new ones, and then that same H&R Block 3 more times.  In one "ad break."  That was truly terrible.  I'm kind surprised that someone "hip" like Conan, who I would think has a pretty good grasp on the internet and how it works, would allow his site to be that crappy...

I'm kind of surprised that someone "hip" like Fish_Bulb, who I would think has a pretty good grasp on the internet and how it works, hasn't heard of FireFox and AdBlock.

VOCSL5: I haven't watched Conan since he switched to TBS.  What's the consensus on quality?

I like it. They don't have many of the sketches they used to have (NBC owns the IP and won't sell), and they definitely don't have the budget they had at NBC, but they make up for this with their typical self-deprecating style and make fun of the lack. Lately I've been finding the monologue isn't quite up to snuff, but the stuff they come up with on the fly (either Conan/Andy, or with the guests, whatever) is as funny as ever IMO.

Somehow, every once in a while, they do manage to be able to use the Masturbating Bear and Triumph. And the fact that they're used so sparingly usually means that they're bust-a-gut funny when they DO appear.

star wars recreated in 15 second chunks and stringed together to form a full movie, entertaining...
Recreating a talk show in the same format, odd and the opposite of entertaining.  Who are these fans that have this sort of time?

I wasn't paying attention enough to know this was going on. I would have loved to have sent something in. Pretty cool.

I'd watch an entire Conan show as muppets.
