I know.  And I kinda figured someone would bust me for it, too, but I was trying to eliminate as much unnecessary complexity from my explanation as possible.  Trust me, if you hold any tech, growth, or Canadian index fund, you most assuredly have a piece of Blackberry.

And for us old farts, its somewhat irrelevant- most of our investments predate 2005, and fund managers have held on to RIM regardless of the Cancon change.

But yes, you're technically correct.  And that truly is the best kind of correct.
