"That is it! NO MORE FARKING PICS, you vultures!"

The coolest part is when that elephant  threw some money on the ground to cover the cost of the camera he'd just smashed.

So they set up a camera trap to take a photo of the other camera trap?
Trapception? (not the lady boy type)

I imagine a flash of light in the midnight air both blinds the Heffalump and draws the attention of predators. Good for you, big foot.

So here in the year two thousand and thirteen, we're still not capable of making cameras and/or housings that can fool animals?

I have been assured by the internet that there are invisible cameras everywhere, and that every square inch of the earth's surface is under 24/7 surveillance.

Well, how would you feel if someone came in and set up cameras in your home?

Still not sure how the animals understand that they ARE cameras. Maybe they instinctively avoid any foreign objects. I'd imagine that the researchers who set up the cameras leave a human scent on the cases.

Why'd I think this was going to be a story about the Honey booboo family attacking some cameramen?

Skr: I imagine a flash of light in the midnight air both blinds the Heffalump and draws the attention of predators. Good for you, big foot.

The flash is probably IR. Most wildlife cameras use IR spotlights.

At this point, wouldn't it be easier to list the species that don't hate paparazzi?
