The AKB48 group is meh. Going for them is just quantity over quality. However I would take Ai Shinozaki any day of the week.

And, no, "otaku" does NOT mean "geek" in Japanese in the same way we use "geek" in English. It means something more along the lines of "batshiat insane, autistic child-man who is afraid of the outside and shuns human contact".

I'd say that they did correspond once, but then the term "geek" lost almost all of its pejorative meaning, while the term "otaku" did not (in its native tongue, anyway).

In fairness, 3D women do often cause headaches after prolonged exposure.
