Notre Dame is kind of like the Australian Outback. There's no neat dividing line marking it out, or signs saying 'you are here', you just keep on driving until you realize you're no longer surrounded by civilization.

Just vast, endless expanses of football and rape, as far as the eye can see.

The university itself exists. Now, if you are asking if the football team is for real I think the Alabama team proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that no, no they are not for real.

good story. Like the kid in Nevada Kevin Hart committing to Cal even though Jeff Tedford had no idea who he was. Plus the kid had a 1.8 GPA, which is not quite high enough for Cal.

In a sane world, that would be true. But he's a 4 star recruit at a skill position. He'll find a coach on a seat hot enough to give him a committable offer.
