utsagrad123: I remember my uncle making this joke nearly 20 years ago.

30 years ago I popped a wheelie over a small trench on my bike as a kid and the front wheel rolled away. Front forks drove into the ground and I ended up sliding across the gravel on my back.

And when I got home my dad sang that song to me. He thought he was hilarious ... I was still crying.

/second CSB today ... I must be getting soft in my old age.

Elroydb: cmb53208: Thread fails without comment from the Mackensie Brothers

This is about airplanes landing, not by getting free beer by putting mice in a bottle

Yeah well, if your Air Canada flight loses a wheel landing at Pearson Airport I hear you're supposed to get a free case of Elsinore. Along with some back bacon

oldfarthenry: Tire studs & snow chains are illegal up here. I mounted semi-automatic assault rifles on the car bumper airplane nose axle to shoot-up the road ice but those are apparently illegal too!
Stupid nanny state!

I'm sure that Red Green would have an appropriate solution for the problem.

oldfarthenry: Meh, it happens all the time when you swap-out your summer & winter tires (& forget to tighten them nuts). A rookie mistake.

You silly Canadians.  So, when do they break out the tire studs and snow chains for the aircraft?
