abhorrent1: drunk cyclists
bingo the psych-o: Still waiting for someone to start making rubber "Dopestrong" bracelets.
Actor_au: The thing that I hate about Lance Armstrong is that he lied and people all believed him, I believed him when everyone else was getting caught. I'm not American but I remember a lot of Americans on this very site all being kind of proud of Lance Armstrong when he won his last Tour de France about how he did it clean and had to deal with cheating European teams. We all act like we knew it back then that he was doping, but I remember a lot of people who were 100% convinced that he was clean. The main attributes to his victory were that he didn't train for anything but the Tour so he wasn't a physical wreck like the rest of the competitors who were injured throughout the year and thus weaker and that his physiology was just a freakish genetic nightmare. It was disappointing that he was such a cheating weak prick of a man because we all thought that the good guy was winning.Nicole Cooke had some Choice Words about Lance Armstrong and cheaters in cycling in general, especially as it relates to women's cycling. This scandal has damaged cycling and stolen money from good people.
JackieRabbit: Yet the cycling authorities didn't seem to have a problem with it at the time.
StoPPeRmobile: I caught a lot of shiat over the years for bashing on that druggie./don't cheat//farking cheaters
Actor_au: The thing that I hate about Lance Armstrong is that he lied and people all believed him
TwowheelinTim: What we really need to do is stop treating cycling as a "sport" and start treating it as the single most efficient form of human transportation mankind has ever come up with, bar none.
HMS_Blinkin: I'm just playing devil's advocate, and I think it's fair to point out that this whole mess is a lot bigger than one person. Pro cycling as a whole is one of the dirtiest sports on the planet, and I tend to believe that Lance Armstrong is a symptom of a much larger disease.
abhorrent1: Because cyclists aren't big enough assholes, we need drunk cyclists?
MBooda: I used to bike centuries and half-centuries on a regular basis years ago before my doctor made me give it up before I destroyed my kidneys. Nothing about Derpstrong or any other competitive cyclist is news to me. All the competitive cyclists I've ever known range from repugnantly egotistical asshats to mouth-foaming suicidal maniacs, bar none. They don't just consider themselves above the law, they are convinced that a different code of conduct applies to their species and thet they can surpass the laws of physics.Improve your community's overall mental health. Run over a cyclist today.
Rapmaster2000: I'm really enjoying how many people's hopes and dreams were crushed because they "believed" in someone they didn't know, had never met, would never meet, and whose entire existence in their life was as a carefully constructed brand identity.
SomeoneDumb: The biggest kick I've gotten so far out of this whole thing was that Armstrong sponsorship deal with UniBall pens a couple days ago.
InmanRoshi: HURRRR ... I'm so outraged about this guy from this sport I don't give a flying fark about and I've never watched a single minute of ..... HURRRR!!!!!111111
