Crowds lose their brains and act in frenzies. This isn't a freaking surprise. It's human history. The kid in the wheelchair might not have acted in his best interest, but then things quickly got out of hand: hey, join the celebration! Whoa! This is a bit too much!

Doubt he would have been badly hurt, but he would have been trampled and felt kind of like an idiot for wanting to celebrate with his fellow fans.

The real story is that Leslie's pretty awesome for helping the guy out.

FTFA: Storming towards the players as the buzzer sounded for Saturday's stunning 84-76 win for North Carolina State over No.1 Duke in Raleigh

Duke sucks. This basketball player, though, does not.

Biness: whistleridge: Biness: I guess at state they taught you the plural of anecdote = data.

certainly its where you learned about humping chickens

Whereas at Wake you learned that 'tried tropes & broad stereotypes' = 'cutting wit'?
Come on, man...even Elon and Salem students know better than that. You can do better.

no, its where we learned how to own the banks that foreclose on state's farmers.

Guys, both of your schools are terrible.

There, that's settled.

So let me get this straight. Farkrs everywhere bemoan the ignorance of the average American but dump on those that decide to get further education after high school because they do it at the wrong school? Way to be part of the solution morons.

the spin that nc state is putting on this.

/if you can't go to college, go to state

Wow, that was CLEVER! Why, I bet you got that off of the back of that UNC shirt you bought at Wal-Mart, didn't you?

NOPE! Wake Forest!

granted we suck, but we'll fire buzz and come back.

UNC and State both suck

Or, as we like to call it, 'whiny poseurs who had neither the grades nor the class to go to Duke, but who like to pretend like they did anyway'. I know several Wake grads. They work at the local wine bar, the local ice cream shop, and as a paralegal in my law firm, respectively. All the State grads I know are pulling down $100k+ a year in real jobs.

But you keep humping that chicken. I'm sure it makes you feel better about being that school in the ACC that everyone always forgets about.

Doesn't take long for the cynics and haters to crawl out from under the rocks. I suspect the player will be getting death threats on twitter from the Internet Tall Poppies Crew.

Leslie, 21, pushed his way through the mass of jumping bodies, saying, 'Get back, get back,' before he reached Privette, 21, who is study communications at North Carolina State.

Which evidently the copywriter did not.
