I do enjoy that the Washington baseball and football seasons were ended in DC by wild-card teams, with a 24-year-old rookie delivering the winning runs in baseball and No. 24 being escorted into the end zone by a 24-year-old rookie for the winning TD in football.

It makes it funnier because the baseball team spent the whole time discussing the coaching decision of refusing to play someone who was healthy because he might get injured, while the football team will spend their offseason discussing the coaching decision of continuing to play someone who was clearly injured.

joseelsegundo: I'm a Redskins fan and have been for quite some time, but I've had it up to here ↑ with the RGIII knee saga. He blew out his knee, modern medicine is awesome, and he'll get better. What more needs to be said? Shall we excoriate Shanny some more? Gripe about the Fedex Field turf some more? If only there were something else going on in the NFL right now that ESPN could talk about.

Go submit stuff. The modmins would probably be happy to see other stuff, as long as it's interesting. I got a Texans/Pats greenlight, and an Eagles greenlight the other day.

jayhawk88: Except that Peterson apparently possesses a mutant healing factor.

Is that what they call HGH these days? (Kidding, kidding.)

But yeah, Peterson is the exception. Griffin is more likely to be the rule. Hope you enjoyed the one year of franchise quarterbacking you got out of him, Redskins fans!
