There are just too many coincidences. Gun? Woman with son? School? Put together all the bits and pieces and the trail all leads back to Solyndra. Follow the money.

Seconding mental illness. We really need to get some sort of early detection system in place so we can catch and treat these people before they become right-wing radio personalities and speakers of the house.

You're completely right.

Nurglitch: I'm glad I did my under-graduate degree somewhere where the professors were pretty dead set against the notion of needlessly asking "Why?" and holding students to a degree of rigour

It wasn't tolerated.  They washed out of the discipline or did extremely poorly.  The toughest prof we had loved to torture one of them in class.  How that kid didn't kill himself is beyond me.  Probably the fact that he had so much money he didn't care if he passed or not.

Yup. It sucks.

Hmm. Three twos.

There's may be some significance to this number. I'm not accusing him of anything, I'm just asking questions.

I initially read the headline as "Sandy denier", thinking the guy was denying Hurricane Sandy ever occurred.

I was very much "dafuq?"

TFA seems to leave out whether Prof. Tracy has visited Sandy Hook himself to conduct an investigation.
